Tourists from the United States of America top the list of visitors to Cambodia’s iconic Angkor temple complex in 2024.
According to a report of the Siem Reap Provincial Department of Tourism, in the first 10 months of 2024, Siem Reap received 774,203 international tourists – an increase of 28.48% compared to the same period in 2023.
Among the multi-ethnic tourists visiting Siem Reap, American tourists led the way with 78,148 in 10 months.
In addition to US tourists, the leading international tourists are Britain, France, South Korea, China, Japan, Germany, Australia, Vietnam and India.
According to a report of the Ministry of Tourism, in the first nine months of 2024, Cambodia received about 4.8 million international tourists, an increase of 22.2 % compared to 2023.
