International glamour and beauty is coming to Cambodia, with the exciting news that the final of the Miss Grand International 2024 beauty pageant will be hosted in Cambodia and Thailand.
The news was announced this morning via social media, with the organizers of the pageant stating:

The contest was originally scheduled to be held in Myanmar, however, the Miss Grand International Organization announced on 22 May 2024 that Myanmar was no longer the host country for the 12th edition.
Representing Cambodia will be Sotheary Bee, who was born and raised in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
She started her career as a model at the age of 14 and is an experienced contender in pageantry.
She was the second runner-up at Super Model International 2015 and a contestant at Miss South East Asia 2014, where she won the Miss Elegance and Best Evening Gown awards.
She actively participates in community projects and charity work whenever she has the opportunity.
In her leisure time, she enjoys listening to music, reading books, and playing volleyball. She feels the pressure of being a good role model, especially to the youth, recognizing that young people look up to her, so she is very thoughtful of her words and actions.
For Sotheary, real beauty lies in having a positive influence on others. She finds beauty in making others feel good about themselves, life, and the world. She also finds beauty in encouraging and motivating people, and in sharing good and happy thoughts, which often result in smiles that make her day. Sotheary dreams of making Cambodia well-known to the world.
Recently, Sotheary Bee, as Miss Grand Cambodia 2024, stands proudly with courage as a leader and an inspiration. She wants people who are suffering to take her as an example, showing that their voices are important.
