Wizz Air has announced the launch of direct flights from Paphos to Warsaw Modlin Airport, expanding its growing network in Cyprus.
The new route will begin on 2 December 2025, timed for the festive season, allowing passengers to travel directly from Paphos to Poland’s capital region. Tickets are available for booking at wizzair.com and on the WIZZ mobile app.
The announcement coincides with Wizz Air opening a new base at Warsaw Modlin Airport on Friday. The airline says this reinforces its commitment to strengthening its presence in Cyprus and Greece, with flights from Warsaw Modlin to Athens also announced.
The airline promotes Warsaw as an attractive winter destination, highlighting Christmas markets, festive lights and a celebratory atmosphere.
It describes the city’s restored Old Town as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, alongside museums, dining and historic landmarks including Sigismund’s Column.
Olivia Harangozo, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air, said, “We are thrilled to launch another exciting route from Paphos and Athens, this time connecting travellers to the vibrant city of Warsaw. With this new addition, we continue to expand our network and reaffirm our commitment to offering more travel opportunities from Cyprus and Greece. Warsaw combines rich history, a dynamic urban vibe, and endless experiences – we can’t wait to welcome even more travellers on board”.
