The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) on May 7, 2024 issued a press release stating that in April 2024, the CDC approved 22 new projects and production expansion projects with a total investment of over $309 million.

According to the report, of the 22 investment projects, 14 are outside the special economic zone and 8 are located within the special economic zone.
