Cambodia and Victorian Chambers of Commerce Forge Partnership to Boost Economic Ties

Melbourne, Australia: The Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) and the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on business collaboration today. This agreement aims to strengthen trade, investment, and economic cooperation between Cambodia and Victoria, Australia. The signing was witnessed by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet during the Australia-Cambodia Business Forum, held on the sidelines of the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of ASEAN-Australia Dialogue Relations.

The MoU sets the stage for a dynamic partnership between the CCC and VCCI, focusing on the development of trade, investment, and economic cooperation between the two regions. Both organizations have committed to an ongoing exchange of trade and investment information, respecting confidentiality requirements, and establishing referral mechanisms to better serve their members and support bilateral business activities.

Further, the CCC and VCCI have pledged mutual assistance for trade and investment missions organized by either party. They will also promote participation in Trade Fairs and special events conducted by both chambers, aiming to provide platforms for businesses to explore new opportunities and forge meaningful connections.

To ensure the success and continuous improvement of this collaboration, both chambers have agreed to engage in regular exchanges of ideas and information, adhering to confidentiality protocols.
