CDC, CYEAD discuss investment opportunities

Delegates from the Cambodia Young Entrepreneurs Association for Development (CYEAD) on Friday meet with senior officials of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) in Phnom Penh to explore investment opportunities.

Chea Vuthy, Secretary General, Cambodia Investment Committee of CDC met with Hong Cheng Chun, President of the Cambodia Young Entrepreneurs Association for Development (CYEAD) and discussed business and work opportunities.

The aims of the CYEAD include, attracting foreign investment from neighbouring countries like Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand for various sectors in Cambodia, including agriculture, agro-industry, real estate, industrial plants and ecotourism.

The CYEAD delegates also talked to the CDC about providing support to foreign investors interested in investing in Cambodia.

There were also discussions on possible business meetings, exhibitions and expos to facilitate direct meetings between foreign businessmen and Cambodian counterparts.

The meeting was held with the aim to explore investment partnerships, expand business opportunities and create new jobs for youth and local communities. Among the aims of CYEAD is to have regionally competitive Cambodian SMEs. khmertimeskh
