The Tourism Ministry and the Future Light Organization expressed their joint commitments to promote Cambodian tourism to the Japanese market

On March 25, 2024, Sok Soken, Minister of Tourism, received a delegation from the Future Light Organization, led by YIT Virasy, Executive Director of the Future Light Organization, to discuss the possibility of cooperation and partnership in promoting Cambodian tourism in the Japanese market.

The Ministry of Tourism and the Future Light Organization expressed their joint commitments to promote Cambodian tourism to the Japanese market and attract more Japanese investors to Cambodia, according to Ministry of Tourism.

The ministry continued that in this meeting, Sok Soken shared about the policies, key strategies, and recent developments in the tourism sector with the Japanese delegates and students to impart knowledge and information about tourism as a basis for study and contribute to the promotion and sharing of tourism with Japanese tourists.

He also emphasized that tourism is a bridge for cultural, educational, and people exchanges, as well as for closer partnership between the public and private sectors of the two countries, Cambodia and Japan.

In particular, minister Soken welcomed and encouraged the relevant Japanese stakeholders to contribute to supporting the Cambodian Tourism Marketing and Promotion Board as well.
